Gay serves as the liaison to conference-related ministries and works with conference chaplains (from schools, camps and retirement communities). Her work also includes conference partnerships with the Anabaptist Network of Britain and Ireland and Grace Assembly Network in Haiti. Gay is one of the LEADership ministers, the platform for conference oversight.

Gay has been with the conference since 2000, and holds a degree in organizational management from Eastern University. She previously served as an administrator at Salford Mennonite Church, and is a member of Spring Mount Mennonite Church.

When Gay isn’t working, she enjoys gardening and whale watching. She has watched whales off Cape Cod, Baja California and the Sea of Cortez, and one day hopes to travel to the Azores. Gay plays guitar and leads music at her church, and says one of her favorite things–despite how much she likes to talk–is going on silent retreats.
